ROC Challenge at Foxhall Stadium, Ipswich, is an off-road double-header which takes the form of cycle time-trial (starting 10am) and running time-trial (starting 2pm). Both cover GPS measured ultra-marathon distances of 45.5km (approx. 28.3 miles) over a unique 3.5km course that includes grass, gravel, woodland and the legendary motor-racing track at Foxhall Stadium.
Participants can take on both disciplines - or settle for just one! Either way, you can take part as a solo entry, a pair, or in a team of up to 5 (for runners). Each entry receives a medal and all participants will be chip timed. We are also offering special discounts for clubs entering 20 members or more (details below).
So, whether you’d like to complete an ultra-run solo, as a pair or in a team – it’s up to you. There’s no limit on the number of teams a club can enter. You can also choose how many laps each team member runs.
Parking is available on-site at only £2 per vehicle - this will be a single cash payment and valid for the duration of the event. A designated drop-off zone will also be in operation.

Running entries
Entry fees: Solo = £30*, Pairs = £25pp*, Teams of 3-5 members = £20pp*
A 20% discount is available to club entries of 40+ members, and 10% discount is available to clubs entering 20-39 members.
*A £2 per person Association of Running Clubs (ARC) event affiliation fee applies on booking. This fee can be claimed back at registration on the day of the event by participants with evidence of personal affiliation to ARC or the affiliation of their registered club to ARC or UK Athletics.
Entry includes a medal, and chip timing. Podium prizes will be made to Solo's, Pairs (male/female/mixed) and Team's (male/female/mixed) completing 13 laps of the 3.5k course in the quickest time.
The off-road ultra will start at 2pm, with a cut-off time of 7.30pm. Runners are required to register at the venue registration HQ between 8-9am or midday-1pm on the day of the event. All participants must be 18 or over on the date of the event.
